Weight Loss Tips For The New Year
Combining intermittent fasting with medical therapy for effective weight loss in 2021.
Today there has not been enough experience with intermittent fasting to know for sure it’s long-term effectiveness. However in our experience at Renew we have found combining intermittent fasting with medical support in the form of phentermine has been highly effective.
The recommended protocol through renew is fasting from 8 PM until 12 noon the following day. If you’re new to this do it one or two days a week and work yourself up to doing it on a daily basis or any variation thereof. Skipping breakfast is fairly simple for most people who are on a regular schedule because they’re usually hurried in the morning they have high ketones in their system from fasting all night so most people don’t even think about eating until 10 or 11 o’clock in the morning. Weekly B-12 shots is also an option and may be helpful for weight loss.
I recommend patients who are candidates to take phentermine at 10 o’clock in the morning it will begin to work around noon. I recommend that all people whether you’re taking phentermine or not or even if you’re not doing intermittent fasting, that you eat 30 or 45 minutes prior to your noon time meal or your dinner meal in order to break your fast and decrease your appetite so that when you have your main meal at noon and at dinner you will not be ravenously hungry and blow your diet at that time.
Common sense would dictate that you try to limit your food intake to whole foods which include fresh fruits vegetables and protein. Exercise is an excellent way to maintain weight loss but it’s not a great way to effect weight loss.

New Year’s Resolution
We have all heard the sayings failing to plan is planning to fail, if you don’t have a target you’ll miss it every time, without a vision the people cannot succeed…

At Renew we recommend that each of us develop a health plan that is written down either on your phone or on an index card but that it be something that you can refer to, look at, meditate on, visualize or pray over on a daily basis. We want to visualize in our minds eye on our goals and our successful completion of those goals and believe that they’re going to happen you do this on a daily basis for 30,60, and even 90 days and it will be yours. The reason for this is that we want to direct our subconscious brain to go in the direction of our goals. The way we direct our subconscious brain is bay meditating on a “mantra“, a health plan that becomes part of our conscious and subconscious brain. We are all being directed by that subconscious brain whether we know it or not. We must replace old thoughts and old lines with new thoughts and new lines for success. The key to an effective health plan and success is recognizing how the subconscious brain works and utilizing it for our benefit. We want to approach health including weight loss in an intelligent manner. This is why a “health plan“ is so critical for success. It is estimated that if we take time on a daily basis preferably morning and evening and we meditate on our goals/health plan that our success will be greatly improved without relying on pure willpower or white knuckling it.
A health plan consist of setting all goals and writing down a “business plan“ to accomplish these goals. It’s not any different than any one else in business setting out with an idea and a “business plan to accomplish that idea.
Step One
Identify your goal which is health and then everything Follows that.
Step Two
Identify the things that you need to do in order to accomplish your goal of health this can include:
- Whole food diet
- Exercise, type of exercise how often and where
- Stress management
- Intermittent fasting
- Phentermine
- Hormonal balance men and women
- Liposuction
- Bariatric surgery
Once your business plan is put together in the form of a health plan then you need to meditate on it day and night until it becomes part of your conscious and subconscious brain.
